Since a meat-only diet provides only some of the nutrients dogs need, they often lack certain minerals, vitamins, trace elements and essential fatty acids. Choosing the right dietary fibre, which is needed for well-regulated digestion, as well as raw ingredients with important secondary plant extracts (polyphenols, carotenoids, bioflavonoids, tannins and bittering agents) is also something many dog owners find difficult.
BELCANDO® MIX IT combines these nutrients and dietary fibre in one balanced product in the form of tasty, grain-free and meat-free croquettes. Together with fresh, frozen or our tinned meat SINGLE PROTEIN, dog owners can now put together an appropriate menu as desired and don’t have to worry about the individual ingredients. This is also a big advantage for dogs who can eat only certain sources of protein.
The ingredients make the difference:
- Amaranth, a nutritious alternative to grain
- Krill, especially rich in healthy nutrients and vital substances such as omega-3-fatty acids, astaxanthin and natural enzymes.

Example for an adult dog weighing 25 kg: daily ration = 180 g MIX IT + 360 g meat.
Further supplements of additional minerals (bones), vitamins and trace elements are not required. The correct feeding quantity is best determined by regularly checking the dog's weight. For young dogs, we recommend comparing the individual weight gain over time with a growth curve typical for the breed. Fresh drinking water should be available at all times. Due to the higher content of vitamin D3, copper, zinc and selenium, this supplement should not make up more than 2/3 of the dog's daily ration.
