FIBER-Tabs supplements the dog’s diet in a targeted manner with a balanced combination of fibres known for their regulating effect on digestion and their satiating effect. Insoluble fibres (e.g. cellulose, hemicellulose) do not contain any usable energy, so they reduce the energy density of the pet’s daily food intake. They also have a solidifying influence on the contents of the pet’s intestines. Soluble fibres (e.g. pectin, pentosans) are partially metabolised by intestinal bacteria and could have a prebiotic effect on the intestinal flora. By absorbing water, dietary fibre extends the transit time of the gut contents and so has a positive impact on stool consistency. A high swelling effect also promotes satiety. L-carnitine is important in fat metabolism and is therefore vital in mobilising fat stores. Dogs love taking FIBER-Tabs, so their daily serving can also be given as low-calorie treats between meals.
Feeding recommendation
FIBER-Tabs are particularly recommended for regulating calorie intake: for dogs with a tendency to obesity, for dogs with an inadequate feeling of fullness, for high crude fibre needs.
For reducing calorie intake: 5 Tabs per 10 kg of body weight daily. Recommended feeding duration: Until the desired body weight has been reached. The daily dose should not exceed 10% of the dry food intake and should be divided up into at least 2 to 3 portions. For stabilising digestion: 2-3 Tabs per 10 kg of body weight daily. Fresh drinking water must be freely available at all times. Your dog’s primary food can be supplemented with FIBER-Tabs on an ongoing basis to stabilise his weight. Dogs love taking FIBER-Tabs, so their daily serving can also be given as low-calorie treats between meals.

Ballaststoffe

Von der Zusammensetzung her kann ich die Tabs empfehlen. Von der Wirkung her - was meinen kranken Dackel betrifft - habe ich erst nach der 2. Packung eine solche bemerkt, da das Gewicht ein wenig gesunken ist. Eine Sättigung tritt offenbar nicht ein, das hängt womöglich mt den dem Hund zugeführten Hormonen zusammen. Aber ich werde sie weitergeben, es scheint mir ein sinnvolles Nahrungsergänzungsmittel zu sein. Was ich allerdings nicht verstehe, ist, daß meine letzte Bestellung, bestehend aus 3 Teilen, davon 2 x Fiber Tabs, in 3 separaten Päckchen verschickt wurde. Und ich frage mich, ob man die Fiber Tabs nicht etwas umweltfreundlicher/nachhaltiger verpacken könnte.

Sehr guter 'Lückenfüller' für zwischendurch

Unser Hund isst gern viel und damit ich ihn gewichtstechnisch besser unter Kontrolle habe, bekommt er zwischendurch immer mal einen Fiber Tab. Ihm schmeckt es gut und sein Darm findet die Fiber Tabs auch angenehm. Sein Output ist prima.
